He also includes readings from classic texts to help reinforce what has been learned in class. Overall, this section was very informative and enjoyable to learn about European literature.

Section 2: Asia
In this section, we explore works written by Homer, Confucius, Plato, Aristotle, Shakespeare, Sigmund Freud, Dostoevsky, and Tagore. Again, Professor Kaczmarczyk provides engaging lectures that make the material accessible and interesting. He also includes readings from classic texts to help reinforce what has been learned in class. There were some difficult topics discussed in this section (e.g., Indian caste systems), but they were handled very well by the instructor. Overall, I really enjoyed learning about Asian literature in this section!

In this section we read works by Machado de Assis,, Gabriel García Márquez
