August 10, 2016 – Broadway Cares Equity fights AIDS with a new internship program. The internships will be available to students who want to learn more about the fight against AIDS and how they can help.

The internships will be offered in the fall semester at the Broadway League Offices in New York City. The interns will work on tasks such as fundraising, communications, and development. They will also have the opportunity to attend HIV/AIDS educational events.

In an effort to fight AIDS and its effect on Broadway theater, Broadway Cares Equity has partnered with The Actors Fund of America to offer an internship in their HIV/Aids program. The purpose of the internship is to provide participant with direct experience in the fight against AIDS and to develop skills that will help them become successful professionals.

What Broadway Cares Equity is doing to fight AIDS Internship

Broadway Cares Equity (BCE) is fighting AIDS Internship. This year, they are partnering with the Broadway League to create an internship specifically for people with AIDS. The internship will be in the office of their Public Affairs department and include working on projects related to AIDS education and policy.
