Nursing homes in Maine offer the most affordable price for long-term nursing care in the US. There are several types of facilities to choose from, including private, public and assisted living residences.

The cost of private nursing homes is generally higher than other types of senior living facilities because they offer more amenities such as on-site dining services and access to exercise equipment.
