Georgia Nursing License Lookup

To verify the status of your nursing license, you must first log-in to your online profile with the Georgia Board of Nursing. Once you are in your profile, click on the “License History” tab and enter your full name. A list of licenses that match the information you entered will appear. Click on one of these licenses to view information about its issuance date, expiration date and any disciplinary actions taken by the board against you (if applicable). You may also call 1-800-282-5813 for assistance with this process or visit Georgia Board of Nursing website for more information about how to renew or upgrade your license as well as how to apply for a temporary permit while it is pending renewal.

You can search for information about the status of your nursing license.

• Click on the “Georgia Nursing License Lookup” link in the top right corner
• Enter your name, license number and date of birth into the fields provided.
• Click “Submit” to view any results

You can look up your nursing license by:

• License number
• Name
• Date of birth (or social security number)

If you aren’t sure what your license number is, contact the Georgia Board of Nursing. They will provide it to you upon request.

• Locate your license number on the front of your permanent license or temporary nursing card
• Enter your license number in the box below and click “GO”
• Select an option from the following options: Licensed, Inactive, Suspended or Revoked/Denied (you may also view your certification)
• Click “VIEW” to print a copy of this page
