Check License Status
- Check License Status
The Indiana State Board of Nursing (ISBN) provides an online system to check your status as a nurse. This includes whether or not your license is active, in good standing and has not been revoked, suspended or surrendered. To begin this process you will need to provide your last name and license number provided on the application when you registered with the board:
- Check if Your License is Active
An active status means that you are currently licensed as a nurse in Indiana at this time and have met all continuing education requirements needed for renewal of nursing licenses. If there are any concerns related to whether or not a license has been approved by the ISBN, it can be accessed here: https://issuu-rs2-cdn-static.manuscriptpublishinggroup.com/publication_attachments/8b4d4d4c7f6e2a60fc97ac9d700f1e7aa3fa3c1fa7ea68decc5b5a559722941_0?v=1&sig=NxHvUYWnR8yFgDpzCwqbf3qbrVTlkZGQQ%3D%3D

This is the official website of the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency.
This is the official website of the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency, which provides a wide range of services related to professional licenses. For example, nurses can use this site to renew their licenses or reinstate them if they’ve been suspended.
The site also provides information on other professions that require licensing, such as architects and contractors.
You can easily find the information you need to verify a nurse’s license. You can also find out when it expires and whether there have been any disciplinary actions taken against them. If a nurse has been disciplined, there will be a red flag next to their name in the system that tells you this information. This is important for anyone who might be hiring nurses or providing medical care at home because it helps ensure patients are getting quality care from those who are qualified professionals!
