How does the SBSF work?
The Santa Barbara Scholarship Foundation (SBSF) was founded in 1950 by Santa Barbara businessmen and women with the goal of providing scholarships for outstanding students from Santa Barbara County. The foundation currently awards scholarships to approximately 250 students each year.
To be eligible for a SBSF scholarship, students must meet the following criteria: they must be residents of Santa Barbara County, they must have an outstanding academic record, and they must be members of one of the following national or international organizations: the American Association of University Women, the National Art Honor Society, the International Baccalaureate Organization, or the Order of the Precious Blood.
