  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) — This degree can help prepare you for clinical practice as well as leadership opportunities within nursing organizations and agencies. It also provides advanced preparation for doctoral study leading toward an MSN-PhD dual degree program or other advanced research programs such as nurse practitioner studies.
  • Master of Arts in Nursing (MAN) — This program provides students with an opportunity to gain expertise in their chosen field while studying its theoretical underpinnings through literary analysis and critical thinking exercises. The MAN is suitable only if it includes a thesis option; otherwise, students should pursue either the MSN or doctoral degree track instead..
