We are staffed by professional nurses who administer to the residents’ medical needs 24 hours a day.

We have a cafeteria where residents can choose what they want to eat, but we also offer private dining for those who would like to eat in their rooms. The chef at Whispering Pines creates all of the meals and then delivers them to each resident’s room or table.

We offer a variety of healthy choices including grilled chicken breasts, seasoned ground beef patties, fresh prepared vegetables and fruits and more!

The Activities Director plans the activities for each day in order to keep them active and engaged in their surroundings. These events are also designed to meet the needs of the residents; for instance some people enjoy creative projects while others may prefer a more social environment such as going outside for a walk or having coffee with friends.

These events have been planned so that they will be enjoyable for everyone involved – from children who attend school at Whispering Pines Nursing Home until adults who are retired from their jobs.

Books are organized by subject category in the stacks, which are located on the west side of the building. You can browse through these shelves to find a book that interests you or ask at the Reference Desk if there’s something specific you’re looking for. We have many different types of books including fiction, nonfiction (including biographies), cookbooks, children’s literature and more! If we don’t have it in stock already then we may be able to order it from another library branch elsewhere in town so give us a day or two before trying again if you don’t see what you need right away.”
