The first step to becoming a Registered Nurse is earning an associate’s degree from an accredited school program. After completing your training, you may be eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX). When you pass this exam, which consists of comprehensive questions regarding nursing skills and procedures, you will be awarded with a license as a registered nurse (RN).

Once your license has been issued by your state board of nursing, you can begin working in any setting that requires medical treatment. This includes hospitals, clinics and other medical facilities where patients are being treated for illness or injury. The salary range for RNs varies depending on location but tends toward high end due to high demand for their services across many industries such as health care systems (hospitals), physician offices/clinics

The Registered Nursing Degree is a 2 year program including 9 quarters of study. You must complete 120 credits to earn this degree, which is equivalent to 20 classes with each class being 3 credits.

The program is a full-time day program as well as a weekend program and night program if needed.
